Setting your graph properties
- [Instructor] After selecting the correct template to work with, we will also want to make sure that the graph properties are going to help us get a good end result in the final material. The first option that we have open to us here being the ability to set a unique graph name. One reason why adding a unique and descriptive name makes sense is that when we take our substances into a host application, for instance, distinct graph names can help us distinguish one graph from another. As we are going to be working with an already created graph in later chapters, this doesn't really matter so much here, but, the practice of adding a clear name will definitely help make our life as a texture artist and designer a lot easier. Especially should we come back to this project ourselves at a later date, or perhaps even need to hand it off to another artist.
