Using the Materials Menu wisely
- The material menu in the 3D view helps ensure that we get an accurate representation of our materials and textures by allowing us to control the displacement or massive intensity, normal calculation and even shading model types. And when we open the menu then, we can see the list of materials that we have already applied in our scene. And when we expand the material as is the case where the most of the other menus, the first option that we get, lets us go ahead and edit the material. After clicking on it, one of the options that we get access to for instance, would be the massive amount control, which if we were to slide around would cause our massive output, should we have any to either increase or decrease. Now, when we first start designer, the default material definition is the parallax occlusion method, which essentially gives us a fake displacement effect.
