Custom normal and height detail

- [Narrator] In this video, we'll be looking at how we can go about adding extra height on normal details to a mesh, so that extra levels of complexity via those textures can be added without our having to go back into a DCC application, and muddle those details in. In fact, it's good to note here that the following will all be done using a blank paint layer that can be created inside the layers tab by clicking the paintbrush icon. To make a start, in our custom normals project, let's make sure, first of all, that we are inside the detail's extras folder and that we have the extra detail layer selected. We will want to make sure that we are using the paint tools so that we can see our brush properties over in the properties section of our UI. Scrolling down, we want to come to the material section and in our case as we are painting extra detail on to metal, we can de-select the color option, in which means that our brush…
