- [Instructor] Creating beautiful works of art from scratch can be a fantastic way to flex our artistic muscles. And in the process create something that is truly unique. But if we are being brutally honest, a lot of our time as texture artists will be spent creating lots and lots of helly straightforward textures and materials. Some for very important parts of a project. Some for the less important parts. Now, as texture artists we do always want to strive to create the best version of our texture that we can possibly create. But at the same time we do have to recognize that, well, time constraints and project deadlines do exist. However, if there does come a time though when we're called on to create something a little more on the unique side, knowing when to use what is already being made available, well, this skill can go a long way towards speeding up our workflow.
