Using generators

- [Instructor] What we want to take a look at in this exercise, is how we might go about adding and then working with, in my honest opinion, one of the most powerful tools found in Substance Painter. And one that can most definitely help increase the realism of the textures that we are creating. This being, generators. And to make a start at seeing how we can work with them then let's right click on the paint folder, inside the camera body material folder. And choose to add a white mask, though as we're going to be using an edge wear generator, it doesn't actually matter here if we use either a black or white mask, as both can do the job for us. After which, we can right click on the mask itself, and then choose to create a new generator.
