- [Instructor] One aspect of realistic material creation that is worth giving some thought to is how we view the material whilst we are creating it, given that it really doesn't make sense to expect that we can create a good-looking material if the preview of that material as we create it is well, low quality. In this video then, we will look at some of the changes that we can make to our Painter viewport so as to make judging the quality of our material just that little bit easier. In fact, we will go a step further and also look at setting things up so as to allow us to take a screenshot of our work if needed in order to get client or supervisor approval. Inside the viewport setup project then, let's open up the display settings options where we can set up our exposure, shadows, post-process effects and so on.
