I'm Harrison Ferrone. I have been a Swift developer since its release, and in this course, I'll show you the basics of Swift 3 syntax in an XCode Playground, and I'll give you the building blocks to start creating your own iOS or macOS apps and games.
We'll start by covering basic variable types, operators, control flows, and functions, then move on to more exciting use cases with Swift optionals, closures, protocols, and maybe even some generics. By the end of this course, you'll feel confident in Swift's syntax basics as well as the underlying reasoning for best practices and writing clean Swift code.
