Using alpha channels for roto

- On occasion you may have roto for your objects before you start tracking, in that case you can use the alpha channels for your garbage mattes. In this scene I did roto for the businessman ahead of time and exported out a PNG sequence with the alpha channel embedded. And to make that alpha channel come through in SynthEyes I need to come over to Shot, Edit Shot and just make sure that the Keep Alpha is clicked on. To see if the alpha channels come though we can come over to the Features panel and if you go down to Advanced, click on Advanced and right over here is the Camera View Type, we can change that to Alpha to see if the alpha channel's coming through and it is. Let's change that back to Normal, now let's see how we can use this alpha channel, if we go over to Roto Masking, the first thing we need to do is delete the spline that is set up for the camera, otherwise it will cancel out the alpha, so let's delete the spline, and now what we need to do is come down to where it says…
