- [Narrator] The licensing model for System Center Configuration Manager is very similar to the licensing model for Windows Server. For 2012 and older versions of System Center Configuration Manager, the previous version is per processor when it comes to licensing; that means per physical processor. You can have as many cores on top of those processors as you'd like, and there'd be no extra charge. However, when we came out with SCCM 2016 and 2019, System Center is now per core. And that means it doesn't matter how many physical processors there are; there's now a charge per core. When it comes to Standard System Center versus Datacenter System Center, there is a big difference and that is the amount of virtual machines that are supported. In the Standard version, it includes two virtual machines supported. In Datacenter, it has an unlimited amount of virtual machines, and again, this is very similar to the Windows Server…
