- [Instructor] Device collections in System Center Configuration Manager represent a logical container for a grouping of devices. We can use these collections to perform a number of different tasks, such as deploying software, updates, operating systems, and more. So we want to create this device collection and we do that by clicking on assets and compliance, and clicking on devices, and then device collections. Alright, now we see four built-in, automatically created device collections. We see all unknown computers and if we double-click on that, we're going to see the default two computers that were created when we installed System Center Configuration Manager. Now we don't want to do anything with that, it has to do with administration of System Center, so we'll just leave those where they are.
