- [Instructor] Collections in System Center Configuration Manager provide a method of managing groups of computers, mobile devices, users, and other resources in our organization. A user collection, which we're going to do here, is only applied to users regardless of what device from which they login. A device collection is applied to devices regardless of which user logs in. Since we're going to do the user login method, we're going to start an active directory because we need to create some users and an organizational unit for which we can lock this down. We're in Active Directory Users and Computers and at the top level of our domain, we'll right click and choose new and we'll choose organizational unit. We'll call this accounting.
