Hardware and software inventory
- [Instructor] In System Center Configuration Manager we can do a hardware and software inventory to tell us what's on our computers. And we can use that information to make sure that our licensing is up to date and that our hardware doesn't get too far out of line as far as getting slow and old. We want to make sure that we keep our hardware up and running. So let's start by going into adiministration and then we'll go to where it says Client Settings under Site Configuration. And if we right-click and go to Properties then we can make sure a couple of different settings are turned on. And the first one is Hardware Inventory. So we've enabled this in a previous video but I just wanted to make sure that you knew where this was if you are looking for it specifically. So you want to make sure it says Enable Hardware Inventory on Clients is set to Yes and there's a schedule set here as well which you can certainly change…
