Prerequisites for SCCM installation
- There is more than one option when it comes to setting up System Center Configuration Manager. There are hierarchies that you can use. The first option would be the Standalone primary site. And you'll want to use this if you have a single site or if you have fast connectivity between multiple locations. The other option is Central Administration with child sites. The child sites allows you to have multiple locations where your central administration can control those sites. Push out updates to the sites and then the sites push out updates to the clients. Let's talk about the Standalone option in a little more detail. There is much simpler administration when it comes to a Standalone site. Everything is installed on that single site.
