Calculating percentages of a table total

- [Instructor] You can analyze your data in many ways. But one of the most useful methods is to determine how much a cell in a table contributes to the total value of all sales. You can also perform this analyses for individual rows or columns. In this movie, I will show you how to calculate the percentage that each cell in a table, or row or column, contributes to the whole. My sample file is the table percent workbook and you can find it in the chapter five folder of your exercise files collection. I have a text table that contains the total expenditures for properties by state. The two states with the lowest expenditures are California and Virginia and that's because there are two properties in those states. What I would like to do is to display rather than the raw totals, the amount that each of these totals contributes to the whole.
