Changing the visual summary type

- [Instructor] Tableau 10 lets you create a wide variety of visualizations. After you create a visualization though, you might want to change its type. In this movie, I will show you how to do that. As my sample file, I will use the change type workbook, and you can find it in the chapter nine folder of your exercise files collection. At present, this workbook has a very simple visualization. I just have my orders broken down by category and by year. Let's say that I want to change from the text table that I have here, to another type of visualization. To do that, I can click the show me button on the toolbar, and that displays the show me task pane with the visualizations that are available to me. Any visualization that is highlighted in color is one that I can create. So let's say, for example, that I wanted to create a pie chart. So in other words, I'm going to change from my text table to a pie chart. To do that, I'll just click the pie chart icon and when I do, I get a pie chart…
