- [Instructor] Combining data in Prep using unions is a really easy way of combining data where it's across several different sheets or tables but the structure's the same. But what happens if the structure's changed? How do we handle those kind of mismatches? To do that I've got some data here on Olympic medal tables. Now in my workbook it's split into six individual sheets for a couple of the decades. I've brought these into Prep in six individual sheets. They're all candly color coded for me. So now I'm going to combine them all together into a union and let's see what happens. So, I'm going to drag this one over the top of the orange one to create my union and then I'm going to drag and drop the rest of them to combine them into the union. So now I have my six input files all going into the one single union. And we'll see the results of the union down here. Firstly, we've got our inputs color coded, but then we've got some problems.
