Creating a highlight table

- [Narrator] You can create many different types of visualizations in Tableau, but one that you might not use, but should, is called a highlight table. As the name implies, it highlights values, based on the relative magnitude of those values. It's easier to demonstrate visually, than it is to explain. So I'll go ahead and do that. My sample file, is the highlight Tableau workbook, which you can find in the chapter nine folder of your exercise files collection. I just have a single worksheet, called category and year. So I need to add those values plus the quantity of items ordered to my sheet. The first thing I'll do is add ordered date. So I'll go up to the data pane, point to order date, click the down arrow, and click add to sheet. There I have my years, 2015 and 2016. Now I can add my product category. So I'll go again to the data panel, click the product category pills down arrow, and click add to sheet. And that goes into the rows area. Now I can add my quantity, and that's…
