- [Instructor] The ultimate goal of using Tableau Prep is to create new files that we can open up in Tableau Desktop to do our analysis. In order to do that, we need to produce output from our flow. There are several options to create outputs. And we don't have to have just one per flow. We can branch off our flow at any point and create separate outputs along that step. To do that, let's look at the output file demo file which you can find in the data directory. So here's my work flow. I've got six inputs, looking at Olympic data over a number of different years. I then unioned each of those together. I've gone through some clean up steps. I then pivoted the data and I then removed some data I don't want and also some columns. So now, I want to output this data to use in Tableau Desktop. So firstly, I'm just going an output at the end of the flow. This is going to be my final product. So, we click Add Step and add an output. So Prep gives me a preview of what the output is going to…
