Creating summaries using sets

- [Instructor] After you define a set, which is a collection of values taken from a dimension in your visualization, you can summarize your data based on that set. In this movie, I will show you several methods for doing that, including using subtotals, and indicating whether values are in or out of the set. My sample file is the Summaries workbook, and you can find it in the Chapter07 folder of your exercise files collection. This visualization shows revenue based on a property city for a number of hotels that my company controls, and what I'd like to do is analyze my data using my set called MidAtlantic, which you can see here in the Data tab, underneath the Sets group. The first thing I can do is go over to the Data tab and double click MidAtlantic, and doing so adds an In or Out MidAtlantic pill to the Rows shelf, and you can see here that there's Property City and then an indication of whether a particular city is in or out of the set named MidAtlantic.
