Defining a group

- [Instructor] Even when you do your best to keep your data clean, you'll find that errors creep in. Sometimes through no fault of your own. For example, a customer company might change its name in the middle of your fiscal year, leaving you to find a solution on how to manage their data. In this movie, I will show you how to define groups which let you combine multiple items into a single item in your visualization. My sample file is the create group workbook, and you can find it in the chapter seven folder of the exercise files collection. To demonstrate how to create a group, I have a small example, it's a text table with customer names and their associated orders. What's happened in the middle of my year is that Bridgewater Maintenance, the second company of the list, has purchased Afton Lawn Care. So that means that for all intents and purposes I need to treat those two items as one. So Bridgewater Maintenance and Afton Lawn Care are now the same company, but there won't be any…
