- [Narrator] Let's design a dashboard that would look good on both a laptop, mobile, and a tablet. So when it comes to creating for different devices, what are the things we need to consider? Firstly and probably the biggest thing, is the screen resolution. Generally, we can be working on a much smaller screen size. In addition, we might have to worry about different orientation. This means we might be scrolling rather than a single screen. We also have to consider the levels of interaction. For a desktop, that's fine because we can have a mouse pointer, but fingers don't have the same kind of dexterity. We might also need to remove some elements that don't work quite as well on a mobile device as it would do on a desktop. So for example, we want to create some versions of the dashboards for mobiles and tablets. We need to ensure that all elements are appropriate, and we might need to change the ordering and sizing if necessary. Also we want to create a single dashboard that works for…
