Disabling pan and zoom in maps

- [Instructor] Tableau is a powerful data analysis program. When you visualize data using maps, you can zoom in and out, and pan from side to side to view your data from many different perspectives. If you want to focus on a specific view, Tableau lets you turn off pan and zoom to direct attention to the data you want to emphasize, without risking changing your presentation. In this movie, I will show you how to disable pan and zoom. My sample file is the pan zoom workbook, and you can find it in the chapter 12 folder of the exercise files collection. I have a map, and it is set at the resolution that I want. I'm focused on a large number of relatively small earthquakes here, in and around Oklahoma City. And what I'd like to do is to disable pan and zoom. Panning means moving from side to side. So if I were to point at the right pointing triangle here, and click the four-way arrow, then I would be able to click and drag to the side to pan from side to side. I could also zoom, either…
