Displaying the data underlying a workbook

- [Instructor] You can use Tableau to create effective creative visualizations. But what if you wanted to look at the data that underlies the visualization you've created? You can go that inside the program and I will show you how to do it with the display data workbook. You can find that sample file in the chapter three folder of the exercise files collection. I have a simple table of my data broken down by hotel city, and for our different product categories. And what I'm going to do is see the data source that underlies it all. To do that, I go to the data menu. Go down to the bottom of the menu and click the last item. And the specific item that appears here will depend on the name of the data source. And then from the submenu that appears, I'll click view data. Doing so displays the data. You can see up to 5000 rows or if you want to see more you can edit the value in the box. If I scroll down, I can see more rows of data. These are orders for the years 2015 and 2016. And also…
