Dynamic sheet selection using parameters

- [Instructor] Parameters will take a user input and change the look and feel of our dashboard. In this example, we have three sheets in our dashboard. A map, a heat map, and a line chart. However, it looks a little bit cramped and we could probably do a better job of making it look more attractive. One way of doing this is to use a parameter to select which sheet we want to view. To do that, we're gonna create a parameter. Let's go to the map sheet. We select, Create Parameter. We call this, Selected Sheet. We change it to be a String. We're gonna list all the sheets that we're interested in. These are called Map, Heat, and Line. It's important that these names exactly match the names of our sheets. We can click, OK. We have our selected parameter, we can edit to the sheet. We now need to create a calculated field based off the value of this parameter. We do Create, Calculated Field. And we'll just call this Sheet. We're just gonna take the value of the parameter, so you don't need…
