Editing and deleting groups

- [Narrator] Many times the groups you create in Tableau, will be permanent. Such as when a company changes its name, or acquires a competitor. However, there will be times when you create a group to help with specific analysis. If you want to change your group either by changing its alias, adding values, or deleting it, you can do so quickly. I will show you how to edit your groups, in this movie. My sample file is the edit group workbook, and you can find it in the chapter seven folder of your exercise files collection. Taking a look at my text table visualization, I see that I have a customer group, Afton Lawn Care, Bridgewater Maintenance, and Wayne Plumbing and if I go over to the data tab, and look under dimensions, I see that it is called customer name group. That's not very descriptive, it just tells me that there is a group under customer name, so I would probably want to rename it.
