Whenever Tableau has a numeric value, it will try to show the distribution in a histogram. So, for example, let's look at the distance. Tableau automatically calculates bins based on the size of the data. It examines the minimum and maximum value, and then calculates the appropriate bin size in order to fit into the view. We can change this from the drop down to look at either detail or the summary. Clicking on the detail then shows the absolute value for each one of these.
