- [Instructor] Business data, especially when you take averages, often include integers and decimal components. In some cases, you'll be interested in the whole number result, such as when you divide the number of rooms needed for a conference by the number of rooms you can get at one time which is also called a block. Or, you might be interested in the remainder. In this movie, I will show you how to calculate both the dividend, that is the whole number that goes into another number through division plus the remainder both in whole number form and as a decimal point. My sample file is the division workbook, and you can find it in the chapter three folder of your exercise files collection. I have a text table here. And I have a list of client names with their codes. And the number of rooms that they need. And also the size of the block. In this case, we're assuming the hotel can either have blocks of 12 rooms, or blocks of 24. And the idea is that the conference organizing committee…
