Keeping track of changes

- [Instructor] Tableau Prep makes it really easy to make changes to our data. But, sometimes it's hard to know what we've actually done. Luckily, Prep keeps a really good record of all of the changes that have been made and shows you a number of different ways that changes have been applied to your dataset. We're looking at the super store sales data and we can see a load of the changes we've already made. Let's keep track of these. Tableau Prep has a changes pane which is on the left-hand side. Now, by default, it's closed, but click on the arrow and it opens up. We now have a detailed list of every single change we've made in this particular cleaning step. We can see both the type of change and we can see the changing records underneath. Each one of these steps has been recorded and we can step through the history of these changes. In addition, if you look at the flow pane at the top, for each cleaning step, it gives an indicator by a little icon of what's occurred. So, for our…
