- [Narrator] Story Points let you build a narrative around your data so you can make your points more effectively. Versions of Tableau prior to 10.2, included basic navigation capabilities but version 10.2 provides more control over how you move within the story. In this movie, I will demonstrate how to use the new capabilities. I'm basing my work in the Story Points workbook. I have three story points and I have called the story overall, Order Details. And you can see that I have orders per category by city, and then next I have count of orders by quarter and then the value of the orders. The navigation tools I have at the top allow me to go one at a time using the arrows or if I want, I can click on one of the sheets, for example, value of orders and go to it directly. In Tableau 10.2 you have another capability and you can see that by going to the navigation pane on the side and clicking the layout tab.
