Preview the flow in Tableau Desktop

- [Narrator] The main reason that we use Tableau Prep is to clean and prepare the data for analysis in Tableau Desktop. This is quite useful that when you're building out flow to be able to preview how those changes are going to appear in Tableau Desktop to know if you need to do further prepping, further cleaning, pivoting, et cetera. Now you don't have to wait until the flow is complete. You can preview the result of any step in Desktop. To see this, let's look at the preview flow demo in your data set. In this flow I've got six connections to individual records looking at Olympic data. We've combined those together into a union, and then we perform some cleanup steps. So the union has combined all six records into a single file, and we've done some cleanup. We've removed some fields, we've renamed some fields, and now I want to see, well how is this going to work in Desktop? Is this good enough to do my analysis?
