- With Prep, we're not just limited to changing every single value in a column. We can change just a subset of rows within an individual column. To try an example of this, I've connected to the superstore sales data. Now we've already made a lot of changes in here. We've done a lot of cleanup. But now I want to just check some of the individual fields and some of the individual rows within those fields and make some corrections. So if we look across here, I can see that I have some null values for some of my fields. For example, post code has null, along with subcategory. Now subcategory being null is a bit of an issue because every product should belong to a subcategory. Now I don't know why that's null, but I don't want to exclude it, but I also don't want to call it null because that's rather meaningless. So instead, I want to change all of those values within my data set to be unknown. Now ideally, you'd always go back to the source of the data and modify and change it, but if you…
