Saving your changes
- [Instructor] When you make changes to a Tableau Workbook, you can save them in a number of different ways. Also, Tableau has a built-in function that lets you revert to your last saved state of your Workbook. It's very handy and it can save you a lot of trouble closing and re-opening a file. In this movie, I will show you how to use all three of those techniques. My sample file is SaveChanges, and that's the Tableau Workbook you can find in the Chapter 3 folder of the exercise files collection. The first way to save a Tableau workbook is something you're probably very familiar with. And that is going to the File menu and then clicking Save. You can also use the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl-S, and if you are near the toolbar and you don't want to remove your hand from the mouse, you can also click the Save button there. You can also save a file under a new format or under a new name or in a new place. To do that you would again click the File menu, and click "Save As..". Doing so…
