Using OmniFocus to assign contexts
- [Male Narrator] In a previous lesson, I introduced you to GTD or getting things done system designed by David Allen. And now in this lesson we're going to take the projects and actions that you've already organized and we're going to start assigning contexts. Then I'll show you how I apply contexts, specifically for editing jobs, throughout several later lessons in this course. Context can be a little complicated at first. So I'm going to do my best to simplify. Think of them as mindsets. For example, you would never run to the grocery store five separate times on a Saturday. You would make a list first and buy everything at once. And to add to that, if a dry cleaners was next to the grocery store you'd probably drop off your dry cleaning before or after shopping. And then maybe you'd need to get gas on the way back. This would be an example of one type of context or mindset that everybody's already familiar with;…
