- [Narrator] Once you've determined your budget for your Twitter campaigns, you'll need to determine how much you want to spend on your bids themselves. Twitter ads are priced using an auction model. A bid is the amount that you want to pay per engagement. An engagement can be every time a person clicks on a link in your tweet, use your video, or your ad shows up in their home timeline. Every time your ad is elected to appear for your targeted user, an auction takes place between your ad and all the other ads from other advertisers. Your bid is one of the factors that determines whether your ad is displayed or not. And there are a couple ways that you can bid. Let's take a look at the campaign on the screen to go over specific bidding types. Here you can see I'm in the ad group setup. And underneath that option is bid type. Now you can set a total ad group budget. You'll notice that's right up top above bid type. And so…
