Create an accordion menu
- [Instructor] In this chapter called Practical Projects, this is your opportunity to basically apply most of what you've learned in this course to a variety of projects, and we're going to start with the good old accordion menu. Now, this common design pattern is an absolute workhorse. It's an immensely useful pattern for progressive disclosure, for highlighting important details of a section, and revealing more details upon a tap or a click if necessary. As a result, the design stays focused and displays critical information first while everything else is easily accessible. In this example, I have created three items for a typical accordion menu, including the close icon up here and the three items that will make up the accordion menu. To create them, I just created the first one using a simple rectangle filtered with gray, added a text box for the company name, and added good old Lorem ipsum for the description, and…
