Create hot spots
- [Instructor] There are going to be occasions where making an element interactive just doesn't make sense. Selecting an element and then saying "Go here, go there," or whatever. It just doesn't make sense. And when you're confronted with this situation, what you can do is to put an overlay over it and that overlay is a hot spot. Hot spots are little interactive areas on top of any element on a page. Though they are visible in the Design view, you will never see them when you output the project. So let's get started. And to get yourself started, open the Interactions project from the previous exercise and get yourself to the Profile page. Now, what you want to do is get the user back to the Main page and you see up here there's a little Back button which is kind of neat, up here in the app bar.
