Creating a component

- [Instructor] In this exercise, we're going to look at another way of working with components. When it comes to working with components, you have essentially two choices: use the pre-packaged components in UXPin, which we've done elsewhere, or create your own. Obviously creating your own custom components offers you some serious advantages, chief among which is control. So if you want to work along with me, the images can be found in the component folder in your chapter download. This project started by creating a rectangle that is 300 pixels wide by 360 pixels high and filled with white and I added a one pixel black border around it. I then went over to the image tool and grabbed the Palau JPG image found in the download. And then when it loaded, I just dragged it from the upper left corner here, right to the right edge.
