Creating imaging effects

- [Instructor] In this exercise we are going to look at applying some of the key effects common to the UX design process. One of the ones that we're going to apply will be a shadow, which is commonly applied in material design projects and blurs, which are commonly used to reduce the focus of elements in a UI. Now as you can see here, I have a floating action button right here and the image of a mannequin. And I have a little thing up here which we'll get to in a minute. So I'm going to start with the FAB sign. Just select it. And if I come over to the properties, you'll notice the shadows lights up. Now I can either click the plus sign or just click shadows and it opens up and I can apply a shadow to it. So what I can do here is it play the color, its opacity, where it is on the X axis, where it is on the Y axis and the amount of blur that would be applied to the shadow.
