What you should know

- [Instructor] Before you start this course, there are a couple of things you need to know. The first is UXPN has both a web-based version and a desktop version of the application, and the desktop version is available for Windows and Mac. I will be using the web version of UXPN for this course, both the desktop and web versions are identical, but you will eventually have to synchronize your desktop files with the web version. To avoid any confusion, I go with the web version, but feel free to use the desktop version, and you can pick it up right here. Get desktop app, and when you click it, you're going to get a download notification. See, right there? And away you go. And it's an installer. Now UXPN also contains a plugin that allows you to add Photoshop documents, these are PSD files, multilayer PSD files, to the application. When I recorded this course, Adobe had just updated Photoshop to Photoshop 2020, and unfortunately this plugin won't work with that version. And you can tell if you've got it just by simply rolling over it, and you can see there's Adobe Photoshop 2020. Now that's the bad news. The good news is that by the time you are viewing this course, UXPN will have updated this plugin. If you are a UXPN user, you might want to update the plugin and install it if you have also updated to Photoshop 2020.
