Creating a 3D UI: Part 1

- [Instructor] In this video, we will create the 3D UI color palette and we'll add a UI button on the screen to enable or disable that color palette. If you click on the Canvas and go to Inspector window, and look at the Random Mode, it is Screen Space right now. So if you see here, the position and scale of this canvas is locked. So if I try to move this canvas, using the move tool, I cannot do that because its position is fixed. There is another option for Random Mode, which is World Space. So if I select it, the UI elements just disappear from the screen and that is because the canvas is no longer rendered on the screen. Instead, it's in the world space or 3D space now. So if I want, I can move this around in the 3D space and that's the kind of canvas we need for the 3D UI. So I'll just put this back to its original position and change this back to Screen Space.
