'Til now, we have imported a 3D box model into our project but the box looks quite dull right now. To change its appearance or to make it more visually appealing, we can do two things. Add a color to the box object or add a texture or image to the box object. We cannot directly apply a color or a texture to a 3D model. We need to use something known as a material. So this is how it goes. We create a material. We change the color of that material. And then we apply that material to the object. Similarly, to add a texture, we create a material. We add an image or a texture to that material. And then we apply that material to the object. So let's do this practically. First of all, let's delete these game objects in the hierarchy and instantiate this box object again. And reset the transform. Right click, reset. Now let's create two folders, one for materials and the other one for textures. It's always best to organize…
