- [Instructor] Before we get started, let's see what are the prerequisites I'm assuming that you already know the basics of Unity3D and ARFoundation. If not, you can refer to the first course in this series, which is AR development techniques, basic concepts. To create AR apps you will need either a Mac or a windows computer. To test the AR app, you will need an AR compatible iOS or Android device. These are the AR compatible iOS devices. To check AR compatible Android devices, search AR core compatible devices. Click on the first link and here you will find list of all the AR compatible Android devices. If you have a Mac, you can create apps for both iOS and Android devices. If you have a windows computer, you can create apps for Android devices. This is because to deploy an app on iOS device, we need a software called Xcode, which is only available for Mac OS.
