- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll look at the distinction between audio listeners and audio sources. And how that impacts our projects. In short, an audio listener is a pair of ears. Every scene needs an audio listener so that we can hear the sounds in the world. By default, when you create a camera inside the scene, if I select the scene camera, you will have an audio listener component. Now this component doesn't have any properties. There's really nothing to customize or nothing to control. It just means that the camera is the location of the ears within the scene. Now, if you're creating a game where a character is moving around the level and it's actually the camera that does the listening and depending on where they're standing, certain things need to be louder or quieter. Then you might want to remove the audio listener component on the camera. And I just resize the window. Just by clicking on the icon here…
