Building scene lighting: First pass

- [Instructor] In the previous video, we added a reflection probe to our scene which was a preliminary step to building the scene lighting. In this video, we're going to get started at creating the core lighting settings for illuminating our environment entirely. Now to do this, there are several steps involved and we need to take them in order and we need to address them carefully. Otherwise the lighting is simply not going to look right. So let's get started. To start, I'm going to select different aspects of our environment, for example the walls, and just check out that in the inspector, these are activated as static. We want to make sure that every mesh in our environment, including the tables, the chairs, the floor, the rug, everything, we want to make sure that all of them have been activated as static to indicate that they will never move.
