Controlling particle color and appearance
- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll continue from the previous and refine our particle system further. We have our asteroid field, and right now each of the asteroids appear a dull, gray color. We can easily fix that. I'm going to move to the Inspector, scroll down to the very bottom here to the Render a Component, that's the bottom module. And you'll see that, in addition to the mesh, we also have the material slot, the default particle system material, which is the default material that is assigned right now to each of these particles. I'm going to change this just by clicking on the swatch to bring up the material selection, and I can choose a completely new material. For example, I could select the Twinkle material, could select the Splash material, and all kinds of different materials. But I am going to choose the Rock Debris material here. This one here, and close the dialogue. So now we have some materials…
