Creating audio and effects for your games

- [Instructor] Greetings and welcome to this Unity certified associate course on audio and effects, presented by LinkedIn Learning. In this course, you'll see how to create believable soundscapes for immersive worlds, and then how to add extra glamor, polish, and interest through particle systems, creating snow, rain, fog, explosions, and a multitude of other effects. My name is Alan Thorne, and I'll be your instructor as we explore Unity's powerful feature set for importing and configuring audio into our projects, such as WAV files. And then for deploying that audio effectively into our scenes, creating music, sound effects, and voice. And then we'll explore the VFX Graph and the standard Particle System objects for building animated elements that enhance the believability and power of our scenes. By the end of this course, you'll be well positioned to create solid audio and effects for your games, visualizations, and other interactive media. And you'll also be on track, alongside our other courses, for approaching Unity certification to help you find a great role working in entertainment, games, and media. So, let's get started.
