- [Instructor] Before we move on to editing, know that we didn't cover the tools used in post in this chapter, mostly because they are the same tools introduced in the production stage. For editing, post effects, and final renders, we'll stay in the gaming engine. For music, we'll go back to Ableton Live. Let's move on to editing. Editing is the process of fine-tuning your scenes with all the elements considered. If you take a typical movie, it would be the process of arranging your shots in an order that truly makes the story shine, then adding your music and sound effects to create a final edit. But this is for a non-VR movie. You might have done this in a tool such as Premiere or Final Cut. But in a game or VR film in a 3D environment, this is executed in the gaming engine. In our case, Unity. Also, the process is slightly different as we need to tackle new elements not involved in your typical movie at the local theater.
