- [Instructor] The final step in your production is to add all your sounds, effects, lights, and render the movie; again, all achieved in the gaming engine. In theory, your movie should be completed and the story shouldn't change. Before you add the effects, lighting, and do the final render, you need to make sure this is the case. Rendering a full movie can take a while. You also want to test a movie with your targeted audience before you do a final pass. You've been working on this project for a while and might not see some of the underlying issues in your story or VR experience. This is the best and final opportunity to make those changes before you publish it. When your final edit is completed, it is time to add proper lighting to enhance the mood. Bring some shadows and highlights into your scene to fully bring out the vision from your concepts. In this step, you'll also add post effects to add even more character to your scenes.
