Import and create materials

[Instructor]- Now lets take a closer look at adding detail to some of the materials in this scene. If you haven't already got to your imports and extract the materials in the scene. Now lets click on this column and see that it has the material wood birch. But that material doesn't have any maps or detail to it. In order to get this material looking good, we're going to need, some good texture images. There are a lot of online resources for this but Revit actually comes with a fairly extensive library of images that we can use in this project as well. In order to find that library, the easiest way is to go back into Revit. I'm going to take a look at this same column, go to the material, and by going to the appearance tab, and clicking on the name of that image, I can find where it's stored on my hard drive. I'll right click on that file, go to properties, and here under location, find pathway to where all of these images are stored. I'll copy that pathway, open a new explorer window,…
