Introduction to lighting in Unity

- [Instructor] To take our scene to the next level, we need to start adjusting the lighting. Let's take a quick tour of Unity lighting. If we go to window, we can turn on the lighting settings tab. I like to drag it over here with the inspector. When working with Unity lighting, we have two main aspects to think about. First is the global and environmental lighting. The second are the lights themselves. In the lighting tab, we have all the lighting settings that change how the scene interprets or deals with the lights that are there. To get a feel for what the lighting situation is right now, let's go back to the scene tab and turn on the scene lighting. All that's lighting the scene right now is the global illumination, the scene lighting that is coming from the Skybox. The Skybox, you can see here in the game tab, is this default Unity Skybox that is a gradient from dark blue to light blue to brown for the ground. It's a decent approximation of the way an actual sky lights a scene…
